These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of stackwrite.com ("Stackwrite", "we", "us", "our"), an independent publication operated by Hirak Banerjee under the trade name "BeatRootTech", based in Canada. By using the site or submitting a tool, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What Stackwrite is

Stackwrite is an editorial publication covering AI coding tools, developer software, and apps. We publish reviews, comparisons, and guides, and we offer a paid service for companies and makers to have their tools listed or reviewed. Our editorial opinions are our own.

2. Submissions and paid listings

You may submit a tool through our submission form. We offer three options:

• Free editorial review — no charge. We consider covering it at our sole discretion, with no guaranteed timeline or placement.
• Featured listing — $5.99 (one-time) — a guaranteed listing in the relevant guide, published within 7 days of approval.
• Sponsored article — $19.99 (one-time) — a dedicated review article, published within 7 days of approval, and shared on social media.

All paid submissions are manually reviewed within 48 hours. If approved, we publish within 7 days. We retain full editorial control over how content is written and presented, including the right to give an honest, balanced assessment.

3. Prohibited submissions

We do not accept, and will reject, submissions that are or promote: scams or fraud, malware, illegal products or services, crypto gambling, adult content, or anything misleading or deceptive. Rejected paid submissions receive a full refund (see our Refund Policy).

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are one-time and shown in US dollars. By paying, you authorize the charge for the option you selected.

5. Refunds

If we reject a paid submission, you receive a full refund. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

6. Editorial independence and sponsored content

Sponsored articles and paid placements are clearly labeled as such. Payment secures placement and coverage; it does not buy a specific opinion, rating, or guaranteed outcome. We do not guarantee any level of traffic, clicks, conversions, rankings, or results from a listing or article. Stackwrite is a young publication and traffic is still building.

7. Intellectual property

All content on stackwrite.com — articles, comparisons, images, and design — is owned by us unless otherwise noted. You may link to and quote it with attribution, but you may not republish it in full without permission.

8. Third-party tools and links

We link to and write about third-party tools and services. We are not responsible for those products, their content, or your dealings with them. Some links may be affiliate links; where that is the case, it does not affect our editorial opinion.

9. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Reviews and comparisons are our opinions at the time of writing; tools change, and pricing or features may be out of date. Verify anything important with the tool's own site before relying on it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stackwrite and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our services. Our total liability for any paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which the operator is resident, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
